Beyond Doing Institute didn’t emerge from theory.

It emerged from a question that wouldn’t leave:

What allows a human being to remain whole inside complexity?

Sara Hrovatič and Doris D. Novak have been working with that question for years – in organizations, in schools, in leadership rooms, in the quiet moments where people admit that the way they’ve been operating is no longer working.

What they kept finding was the same thing -the people who navigated complexity most effectively weren’t the ones who adapted best. They were the ones who stayed most fully themselves.

That insight became a framework. The framework became an institute.

BEFORE THE INSTITUTE

Before Beyond Doing Institute, there were Abundance Witches.

Sara and Doris remain Abundance Witches – not as branding, not as performance, but as an archetype that continues to inform everything they build.

For them, the Abundance Witch represents a human being who doesn’t split into “acceptable” and “authentic.” Who remains connected to inner truth within complexity. Who perceives beyond surface structure and lives from wholeness rather than adaptation.

It is an archetype of internal sovereignty. Of structural authenticity. Of embodied perception.

The word “witch” carries something unexpected in corporate environments, educational institutions, and public systems. It creates permission. Permission to be perceptive. Permission to be whole. Permission to remain internally aligned while operating inside structured systems.

And it carries tribute. Across history, individuals – often women, but also men and children – were silenced or punished for being perceptive, different, sovereign, or self-trusting. Abundance Witches it’s return. 

A return to inner authority. Embodied intelligence. Self-trust. Wholeness expressed.

Abundance is not accumulation. It is integrity made visible.

THE EVOLUTION

As the work expanded into complex systems – organizations, leadership development, education – the structural dimension became undeniable.

Human development required architecture.

This led to the articulation of Architecture of Humanness™ and the formal development of Intelligence of Humanness™ as a structural competency. Beyond Doing Institute is the institutional evolution of the same core principle that was always there:

“Human wholeness – tenderness and strength held together – is itself the advanced capacity.”

She recognizes where people are adapting instead of operating from wholeness – and she creates the conditions for something different to become possible. Her work brings clarity, courage, and connection with internal truth.

DORIS D. NOVAK

Doris D. Novak

Doris perceives patterns and architecture within complex systems and she refuses to leave anything half-understood.

Where something is sensed but not yet clear, she stays with it until it becomes precise enough to name, to trust, to use. This is her particular gift – she does not accept insight that cannot be made real. She takes what is perceived in a person, a system, a moment and grounds it in living context, close enough that someone can actually feel it and act on it.

Her background runs through hospitality, sales, development, and mediation. Years spent in the practical work of making things function between people. She holds that humanness does not disappear in complexity, as long as it is structurally developed. That the qualities most organizations quietly depend on – judgment, relational intelligence, ethical coherence – are not personality traits. They are capacities. And capacities can be developed.

Her insistence on understanding –  fully, is one of the forces that turned a lived way of being into a model that can be taught.

THE TWO OF THEM

They met as teacher and student.

Doris enrolled in one of Sara’s branding program – and became impossible to overlook. Before Sara had finished explaining what might be worth doing, Doris had already done it. The persistence, the courage, the speed, the complete trust in the work – Sara recognized them instantly, because they were her own. This wasn’t a student. This was an equal.

So Sara invited her to build something together. From that first workshop on, they were inseparable. Doris came into every existing program as co-facilitator; together they created new ones. And somewhere along the way, partnership became friendship – the kind where, for years, they sat down together almost every weekday to talk through everything – the challenges, the visions, what they wanted, what was hard. Everything held jointly. Everything shared equally.

But the real reason they are co-authors of this work is subtler and it is the clearest demonstration of Intelligence of Humanness™ either of them could give.

For Sara, this intelligence was always native. She lives it. She never needed to understand it – it was simply how she was.

Doris perceived it too. But she needed to understand it – fully, structurally – before she could trust herself to use it. And she kept naming the gap: “People don’t understand, they just don’t understand.”

That insistence, repeated until it could not be ignored, is what pushed Sara to articulate what she had only ever lived. To turn embodied intelligence into structure. To articulate Intelligence of Humanness™ and develope Architecture of Humanness™.

This is why Doris is co-author of the architecture.  Because without her, it would never have been drawn.

One lives the intelligence. One needed to understand it. Held together, the two became a model the of the work they do and the architecture they developed it from it.

HOW THEY WORK

The work Sara and Doris do is experiential, developmental, and structurally grounded.

They create environments where roles can be examined rather than inhabited unconsciously. Where perception can deepen. Where coherence can stabilize. Where internal architecture can expand.

Beyond Doing Institute does not construct a new self. It supports the maturation of the one already present.
